Course Overview

1 Classroom Session (1 evening) & 3 dives (2 tanks, 1 day)



Prerequisites

KC Open Water Course IV or equivalent



Preparation

Students should complete the course manual before attending class

Including all chapter study questions

Review *repetitive dive planning

Study the *course outline before attending the classroom session.

Equipment, Required

All OW4 equipment, including Timer, Console, Slate & Knife

2nd Depth Gauge, capillary or computer

Pony Bottle w/Regulator and attachments

Lights, Main and Backup, with attachments

Collection, Game or Net Bag, with attachment

Padlock, single dial combo, well oiled

Backup Knife

Save-a-dive Kit

First Aid Kit

Dive Alert (air horn) signal

Up Line or Jersey Reel

Lift Bag, 50lb minimum

Reel: Wreck, Tether or Penetration

Computer (can substitute for capillary gauge)

Custom mouthpiece for primary 2nd stage of regulator
