We will be traveling to the Thousand Islands region, which lies on the international border between New York State and Canada.

Over a time span of hundreds of years many vessels have been claimed, creating an abundance of wrecks available to dive in the area.
The region provides the diver with a freshwater environment which has good visibility.
During our stay there in July we can expect water temperatures in the 70+ degree range.
Keep in mind there are no thermoclines in this area, what you feel on the surface is what you feel at depth.
The schedule for this trip will be the following:
Friday, July 11 is set as a travel date to arrive and check-in. We will be staying at Caiger's resort which is located on the water.
The approximate drive time from Kings County dive shop to the resort door to door is 6 hours.
Depending on when everyone arrives and the number of people interested a late afternoon dive can be arranged.
Saturday, July 12 we will be doing two boat dives in the morning followed by two afternoon boat dives for a total of four dives.
There will be surface intervals between all dives and we will return to shore between the morning and afternoon dives.
The dock that we leave from is located at the resort.
Please note even though these are boat dives the likeliness of seasickness is minimal.
On Saturday evening we will have reservations for dinner.
Sunday, July 13 there will be two dives scheduled for the morning.
Upon returning to the resort we will be checking out of our rooms and leaving that afternoon for the return trip home.
